Wonderful photo. Colour, lighting, sharpness all came together. We only see the Roosevelt Elk up island early morning or late evening.

Thank you, we lucked out coming across this guy on our travels. My first time seeing Elk on the island.

My brother and I were driving to see our cousin in Sooke, when we came across this handsome Elk along the way.
